Tempus Resorts employees take pride in their active involvement in many community service organizations and initiatives. We participate in a wide variety of programs supporting our local community including the Red Cross, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the Children's Home Society, Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, the Orange/Seminole County Foster Children's Association, and local educational, charitable and sports organizations benefiting Central Florida's youth.

Our “Pink Ribbon” fundraising campaign has become one of our company’s signature annual community service initiatives, supporting the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” campaign. Our initiative kicks off with creative internal fundraising events across all of our Tempus Resorts locations and departments, from themed lunches to bake sales, pink ribbon sales, pink-and-blue-jeans-days and other internal events, all culminating with our annual “Pink Ribbon Golf Classic” tournament held at our very own Mystic Dunes Golf Club. Through the generous support of our employees, business partners and vendors, Tempus Resorts has donated over $100,000 to the American Cancer Society in our continued support in the fight against breast cancer.

Mystic Dunes Golf Club has also served as host and title sponsor, along with Wayne Densch Charities, for the annual Darrell Armstrong Celebrity Golf Tournament benefiting the Darrell Armstrong Foundation for Premature Babies. We are proud to partner with Armstrong, formerly of the NBA's Orlando Magic and a beloved Central Florida celebrity, and other community partners to support this non-profit organization that provides assistance to needy families of premature babies including hospital care, specialized equipment and special services.

Our company also supports the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization aimed at providing programs and services to those who have been severely injured in military service, through our annual Red, White & Blue Golf Invitational.  We’re also proud to join others in the national golf community by collecting donations for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to families of those who have become disabled or lost their lives in the line of duty.
