The 1,300 employees of Tempus Resorts take pride in their active involvement in many community service organizations and initiatives. Our company channels its support primarily toward youth-focused non-profit organizations and charitable events.

We are actively involved in a wide variety of programs supporting our local community, including the Red Cross, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the Children's Home Society, Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches, the Orange/Seminole County Foster Children's Association, and other local educational, charitable and sports organizations benefiting Central Florida's youth.

Our “Pink Ribbon” fundraising campaign has become one of our company’s signature annual community service initiatives, supporting the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” annual campaign.  Our 2007 month-long campaign was recently completed, with a wide variety of employee fundraising events including bake sales, pink ribbon sales, pink-and-blue–jeans-days and other internal events culminating with our third annual “Pink Ribbon Golf Classic” tournament and silent auction at our very own Mystic Dunes Golf Club.  With the generous support of our employees, business partners and vendors, Tempus Resorts presented the American Cancer Society with a donation of $28,500 for this year.  To date, Tempus Resorts has donated over $70,000 to the American Cancer Society since our inaugural Pink Ribbon campaign in 2005, in our continued support of the fight against breast cancer. 

Mystic Dunes Golf Club also recently served as host and title sponsor, along with Wayne Densch Charities, for the annual Darrell Armstrong Celebrity Golf Tournament to benefit the Darrell Armstrong Foundation for Premature Babies. Armstrong, formerly of the NBA's Orlando Magic and a beloved Central Florida celebrity, brought his annual fundraising tournament to Mystic Dunes Golf Club for the third year in a row.  Participants enjoyed golf and interaction with several NBA athletes to raise funds for Darrell’s non-profit foundation which provides assistance to needy families of premature babies, including funding for hospital care, specialized equipment and special services.

This past holiday season, Tempus Resorts employees supported “Home For The Holidays”, an annual fundraising initiative supporting underprivileged children and families in Osceola County. Through our employees' generous donations of toys, gifts, food and money, we brought holiday joy to over 2,000 families. Tempus employees have made a commitment to helping those in need and will continue to dedicate their time and effort to local charities.
